AIIC is the International Association of Conference Interpreters, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Our bilingual association represents the interests of conference interpreters around the world, working both in public institutions like the United Nations, and on the private market. AIIC was founded with 35 members in 1953. Now, 70 years later, we have over 3000 members in more than 100 countries.

For over a decade, AIIC used a custom-built CRM platform with multiple APIs. This set-up was fragile and costly, thus requiring multiple updates and numerous developments. Over time, this created administrative, operational, and budget uncertainties that became unsustainable for us. In 2020, following a review of 10 different platforms, AIIC chose in1touch mainly because it guaranteed a full range of services, including the management of multiple websites, through a single secured SaaS platform.

The Nova Scotia College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists is the regulatory body for audiologists and speech-language pathologists in Nova Scotia, Canada. NSCASLP is responsible for licensing of audiologists and SLPs to work in Nova Scotia and also manages the regulatory complaints process.

The College was founded in 2019 and has been using OlaTech’s services for the past three years. We use the in1touch platform to process licence applications, annual renewals, registrant communications, CE program reporting and our public website including roster of licensed registrants. The in1touch platform manages our data very well and minor configurations can be completed quickly and easily. The support team is excellent – they respond quickly to requests and any changes we ask for are handled promptly and thoroughly.

Founded in 1919, the Union of Quebec Municipalities (UMQ) represents municipalities of all sizes in all regions of Quebec. Its members represent more than 85% of the population and territory of Quebec. The UMQ is made up of more than 390 member municipalities.

The membership management system that we had been using for several years no longer met our needs. In 2018, the UMQ chose Olatechs SAAS solution, In1Touch. Since then, we not only have an effective member management system configured to meet the specific needs of our environment, but with Olatechs dynamic team and at reasonable costs we have been able to develop several projects such as a tool in contract management, a system for managing grouped purchases for our members, a powerful search tool for our database in working conditions, an LMS in addition to online payment, management of our annual subscription and registration for our annual conference which welcomes more than 1,500 participants. The UMQ is very satisfied and intends to continue the development in the coming years.

SSMLT is the regulatory body for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) in Saskatchewan, Canada. SSMLT is responsible to register MLTs to work in Saskatchewan and to manage the regulatory complaints process. SSMLT previously conducted business in a hybrid model, with new applications being completed online and renewals done manually. This was time consuming and required HR resources to complete.

In 2016, SSMLT contracted OlaTech to develop a website and custom-built CRM platform. The development process and data migration were delivered in approximately 9 months. The implementation of in1touch provided a single secure SaaS platform that provides a full range of services including registration, renewal, voting, events management, reporting, exams, and registrant communication.

The in1touch platform is flexible and configurable. The support team is responsive and provide options for new requests. SSMLT has added several features since inception that have been implemented reliably.

SCRT (Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists) is the provincial college regulating the respiratory therapists of Saskatchewan. Self-regulation legislation was tabled April 1, 2009 in the Saskatchewan legislature. All respiratory therapists working in Saskatchewan must to belong to the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists.

We needed to do member licence renewals through an online platform. We turned to in1touch; they delivered the goods. Our 2014/15 renewals were done completely online and things went smoothly and efficiently. The new website has also provided us with improved back end features that makes things easier for our office staff and allows for superior reporting. The Canadian Museum Association (CMA) is the voice for Canada’s vibrant museum community, from small, volunteer-driven organizations to cherished national institutions, and for the millions of Canadians whose lives are enriched by museums. We advocate for public policies and support, we build skills across the profession, and we establish and inspire connections to strengthen and sustain museums.

Our association was looking to update its membership management solution and website/CMS at the same time, and in1touch met or exceeded all of our requirements, in one package. Sales and support was top notch right from the starting line, with clear communication every step of the way. When launch day came, there were the usual hiccups (external, related mostly to changing web hosts, and a few glitches we hadnt anticipated), but Olatech helped us resolve those quickly. Turnaround time on support requests is quick, often with the solution itself in the first reply; when the solution isnt immediately available, the wait for a follow-up is short.
